Celene Boggs Resong

Experience:

Celene Boggs Resong has practiced law with the firm since being admitted to the California Bar in 1994, and regularly appears before the State and Federal Courts of the Central California area.  She is a partner in the firm and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Central Districts of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

During her first six months of practice, Ms. Resong defended her first jury trial, Castaneda v. McIntyre.  Since then, she has continued civil trial work as well as handled appeals before California's Fifth and Second District Courts of Appeal.  Ms. Resong's litigation practice areas include personal injury, products liability, commercial real estate (including unlawful detainer), environmental matters, and medical malpractice.

Education:

Ms. Resong graduated magna cum laude from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1991 with a B.S. in Business Management.  She then attended the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco where she was awarded her law degree in 1994.  She also received the American Jurisprudence Award in Ethics (Professional Responsibility).

Professional Associations:

Ms. Resong is a member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California, the Defense Research Institute, the Catholic Professional and Business Association, and the Commercial Real Estate Women of Fresno, where she is a past president and has served on the board for many years.  Ms. Resong is also a former Chair of the Fresno County VIP Mentors Advisory Board, where she is also a VIP mentor.
