Jerry D. Jones

Prior to joining Stammer, McKnight, Barnum & Bailey LLP, Jerry D. Jones was a member of the Fresno County District Attorney's Office, where he rose to the position of Chief Deputy, supervising the Homicide and Felony Trial Units.  Mr. Jones then left to join our firm where he has worked in the areas of personal injury litigation, medical and attorney malpractice, health law, criminal law and business litigation.  He is a partner in the firm and has tried in excess of 80 cases to verdict, including both civil and criminal matters.

Mr. Jones attended the University of Notre Dame Law School where he obtained his law degree in 1976, and graduated summa cum laude from California State University, Fresno in 1973.  He is a member of the State Bar of California, the Fresno County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California, the Defense Research Institute, the California Medical Legal Committee, and the Health Lawyers Association.  Mr. Jones also serves as Chairman of the Board for the American Lung Association of Central California.
